Frequently asked questions

The questions our desk actually gets, answered without hedging. If yours is not here, the support channels are one click away.

How booking works

Why is there no instant booking button?

Because fares move by the hour, and a person checking your dates, passport and connections catches what a button would not. You send a request, an agent prices it against live fares, and you pay a quote you have already seen.

How long until someone replies?

Minutes in working hours, Mon–Sat 8am–8pm WAT. Outside those, first thing the next morning. The reply comes on whichever channel you chose — WhatsApp, phone or email.

What does a quote include?

The fare, taxes, carrier charges, baggage and our service fee, added up to one number. Nothing is added at payment. If a fare moves before you pay, we re-quote and show you both prices.

What payment methods can I use?

Card (Visa, Mastercard, Verve), bank transfer, and USSD or mobile money. Card details go into fields hosted by the payment gateway and never reach our servers. Transfers hold the fare for 24 hours.

Do I need an account?

No. An account only exists so you can track requests, quotes and tickets in one place, and so your travellers are saved for next time. You can create one from the confirmation screen in a single field.

Passports and documents

Why do you need my passport?

Airlines require passport details in the booking for international itineraries, and transmit them to destination authorities before departure. For domestic Nigerian flights a name and date of birth is enough.

What file types can I upload?

PDF, JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 10MB each — one per traveller. If you would rather not upload, tick the box on the form and send it to the agent on WhatsApp instead. Nothing can be ticketed without it.

Who sees my passport?

Our ticketing desk and the airline. Nobody else. Ask us to delete it at any time and we will.

My passport expires soon. Is that a problem?

Often, yes — many destinations refuse entry if it expires within six months of arrival. Your agent checks this before quoting, but the rule belongs to the destination, not to us.

The name on my ticket is spelled wrong.

Tell us immediately. Small corrections are usually possible before departure, sometimes free and sometimes for an airline fee. A change to a different person is not possible on almost any fare.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Can I change my flight myself?

Not instantly. Changes are raised from your booking page and actioned by our desk, normally within one business day. What is possible depends on the fare rules printed on your booking.

Which tickets can be refunded?

Basic fares are non-refundable. Standard fares are changeable for a fee but not refundable. Flex fares are refundable less a fee. Your booking page states which one you hold.

What if the airline cancels my flight?

Airline-initiated cancellations give you rights the fare rules do not — usually a free rebooking or a full refund, whatever ticket you bought. Message us and we action it with the carrier.

How long does a refund take?

Card refunds typically reach you 5–10 working days after the airline releases them. The airline’s own approval can take longer on some carriers.

On the day

How much baggage do I get?

It depends on the fare, and it is stated on your quote before you pay as well as on your booking page. Extra bags are cheaper bought before travel than at the airport.

When should I get to the airport?

Two hours before a domestic departure from Lagos or Abuja, three for international. Lagos international check-in queues are unpredictable — the extra hour is not padding.

Can I choose my seat?

Tell your agent when they quote and they will request it with the airline. On Basic fares a seat is assigned at check-in.
